This week's task is to produce Banner. Required: Size of A3 paper, 300ppi. Content: "Anglia Ruskin University"
"End Of Year Show" "COMING SOON"
In the last week, our group members discuss with the LOGO design style, we chose a more casual style as well as the bright color as main color. Therefore, in the design of Banner, I think the style is similar with the LOGO. So this time I produced three different styles Banner.
The first picture:
In this picture I used the red color. I think the Banner will pay attention for the people. Secondly, I choose the circular lines as the background. The font’s style is similar with the LOGO. This photo gives a cheerful feeling, so I chose a circular as the main picture. However, when I finished this banner, I found a picture of the composition is too full. The background is more attention than the font.
The main style of this picture is more casual, using ink-jet approach. Primarily to highlight the font, so the picture appeared in a three-dimensional graphics, the purpose is to highlight the content of Banner.

I personally think that this picture is better than before. First, the screen is formed by frame and stickers. Each sticker has different color, while the font above sticker is wrote the university’s name. Also make the picture frame also aims to highlight the Banner content. I think that write the fonts in the frame is more obvious.

I agree with you. Still, I think it's quite busy. Maybe you can put the gray stain inside the board because now, it seems to me that it's just a graphic element in the middle of your banner that has no actual significance or function. Another point, even though I like the third option I think you will have to leave a bigger white space in the bottom for sponsorship... what about making it vertical instead of horizontal format? That might give you the chance to experiment with all your elements with much more space.
