This week I finished my personal portfolio. And I also write some design concept on it . I want to choose the simple design of my sketchbook. I hope my portfolio is more concise and clearly. I design the front cover by my self. I wish it looks like a book.

The new business card’s style is different with the freshness design. I try to use a bright color as the background. Design concept is simple. I try to use the dialog box to write my personal information. But I'm not sure which one is more suitable for me, I will print them out, see which one is better.
Through our group discussion, we wish the LOGO is matched with the Poster and the Exhibition theme. So we decided to re-design a new LOGO. We want to change the lens replaced the paint pot. At the same time I want to change the clouds pattern as background. This idea comes from the Chinese clouds pattern. I have found that clouds pattern is very like with the brush pattern, while it is also matched with the font style. Therefore, I modify the Chinese clouds pattern to do the background.
This week I designed a new business card. This design idea comes from the banner idea. So I chose to fresh color, clean picture. The whole design is very simple. I will pick a better one to do my business card. At the same time I also modify the others business card which I design it before.
This week's task is to produce Banner. Required： Size of A3 paper, 300ppi. Content: "Anglia Ruskin University"

In the last week, our group members discuss with the LOGO design style, we chose a more casual style as well as the bright color as main color. Therefore, in the design of Banner, I think the style is similar with the LOGO. So this time I produced three different styles Banner.
The first picture:
In this picture I used the red color. I think the Banner will pay attention for the people. Secondly, I choose the circular lines as the background. The font’s style is similar with the LOGO. This photo gives a cheerful feeling, so I chose a circular as the main picture. However, when I finished this banner, I found a picture of the composition is too full. The background is more attention than the font.
Before I design this LOGO, I look up some information about the Studio. And also see some different LOGO design from the Internet. And Then got my own idea.
Design studio is the exhibition's theme, I designed the LOGO aims to pay attention for the people. Firstly, I choose red, yellow, blue three colors as the main color of LOGO, these three colors gives people a youthful feel, it is represent our young designers. While the middle part of LOGO, I chose a camera lens, it is represent capture the best things. In the production of this part I have another idea that choice of the eye as the middle of the LOGO. Eyes represent of a high degree of concern, and the lens is almost the same meaning. I also try to use the eye instant of the camera lens. But I need for draw the eye picture, so I'm still designs. In this week, after I discussion with my group, I will determine the final modification of the LOGO.

Animation Studios
This is a small animation design studio. From the picture we can see that there are three small houses in a large space. These three houses have different function. There are picture room, animation room and video editing room. In the large space, it could be the reception room, with sofa, a table. There are some animation posters on the wall and the shelves put some animation books. The light color is very warm. The whole studio is like animation scene.
The concept of this LOGO is different from previous designs. First, the exhibition's theme is Apocalyptic. The exhibits are about the destroyed environment, Graffiti on walls, A Burnt out car, A bent street lamp, A burning skyline and so on. The purpose of this exhibition, we hope that people can through this exhibition, get some inspiration. To protect our living environment, so the picture in the background, I draw a people who have embraced the earth, a symbol of love and protection. I hope that the fonts look great powerful, so the font have angular.
This week I designed two different styles of Business cards.The first business card I chosed the Chinese style. Facebook is designed with Chinese characteristics, so I use it as my LOGO in my business card.
I use the contrast and gradient methods. The flame pattern is in the middle of Business card also a symbol of traditional Chinese culture.
These two business cards is my initial idea. I will continue to modify my business cards. If I have a new idea, I will design a new business cards.Finally, I will choose a better one.
The production of LOGO, I mainly think about our theme, so I use more decadent style. Firstly, our theme is Apocalyptic, when I see this word, I thought that the various ruins, all kinds of defects, decadent life. So when I designed the LOGO I hope can highlight the theme of the exhibition. The color of the LOGO, I chose yellow as the main color, yellow is a bright color. The fonts will become more obvious.
The visit of the British Museum, I have a great harvest, not only saw the collection in different countries, but also received a lot about the exhibition of knowledge. After visit museum I got some important information about exhibition. First of all, the placing of exhibits in the exhibition is very important. A good placing of exhibits can guide the audience a clear theme of the exhibition. For example, the British Museum's exhibition is divided into different countries. Each country's exhibition has its own characteristics. For me, overseas exhibition of the collection is very appealing to me. But I am rather familiar with the Chinese exhibition, so I use the exhibition of China as an example to illustrate. When I entry the Chinese exhibition, first of all I can see the China's own unique works. Jade carving works of art can be said of China's most traditional things. Jade is also very famous in China. In particular, the works are displayed in the exhibition. Placed them on the top of their exhibition, if someone understanding of Chinese culture, they must know that this is Chinese exhibition area. I also found that exhibition was put the small works together and then give them to compile the figures, in the window outside, according to numbers, people can well-known their name and introduction to the works. To facilitate the audience better understand the history of each one exhibits. In addition, the exhibits are not only on the side of the wall, many large exhibits have been placed into the middle of both sides of the wall, which is its prominent place, more to attract viewers realized.
I also found that the British Museum, all of the exhibitions have a common characteristic, which is a very spacious exhibition area, there is no obstacle or wall. Viewers can see the whole exhibition area. It is also worthy of our study areas.
The British Museum is very large, so each exhibition area set up lounge. At the exit was also set up souvenir shops. As a large-scale exhibition, this is an essential part.
