Before I design this LOGO, I look up some information about the Studio. And also see some different LOGO design from the Internet. And Then got my own idea.
Design studio is the exhibition's theme, I designed the LOGO aims to pay attention for the people. Firstly, I choose red, yellow, blue three colors as the main color of LOGO, these three colors gives people a youthful feel, it is represent our young designers. While the middle part of LOGO, I chose a camera lens, it is represent capture the best things. In the production of this part I have another idea that choice of the eye as the middle of the LOGO. Eyes represent of a high degree of concern, and the lens is almost the same meaning. I also try to use the eye instant of the camera lens. But I need for draw the eye picture, so I'm still designs. In this week, after I discussion with my group, I will determine the final modification of the LOGO.

Animation Studios
This is a small animation design studio. From the picture we can see that there are three small houses in a large space. These three houses have different function. There are picture room, animation room and video editing room. In the large space, it could be the reception room, with sofa, a table. There are some animation posters on the wall and the shelves put some animation books. The light color is very warm. The whole studio is like animation scene.
Music Studio
There is many large instruments in the Music studio. This is an open-style music studio. The middle of the space is sofa. It used for rest and to receive guests. Around Space, there are different parts. There is recording room, editing room. These two rooms are very important in the music studio. They need for a separate space, but the control room was designed in an open space. And another placed put the computers. It can be used to audio-visual music or other purposes. In this work environment, it is facilitate communication between staff.
Another studio is different from the usual studio. If the work space is small, the studios can be designed on two levels. In the picture, the first floor is the office and the second floor is the reception and rest areas. This studio is characterized is saving the space.
A good studio facade is very important. This is two pictures are two different types of studio: the first picture is a commercial studio, and the second picture is a creative studio. The first picture is a well-known Chinese television studio. When people come to studio they can see the LOGO first. And the reception is design in entrance. It is facilitating to Reception Guest. The whole design style has commercialized. Another picture is a creative studio in Beijing, this studio is mainly to design some products combination the traditional and modern style. In the entrance, there are four figure statues. They are symbol of the studio. Some of the products are use these figure statues as design These four figure statues are very interesting, it attracted a lot of people go to the studio to visit. So I think a good studio facade will bring big business interests for the studio. Studio's facade can be used LOGO or used some creative products to attract people's attention.
The concept of this LOGO is different from previous designs. First, the exhibition's theme is Apocalyptic. The exhibits are about the destroyed environment, Graffiti on walls, A Burnt out car, A bent street lamp, A burning skyline and so on. The purpose of this exhibition, we hope that people can through this exhibition, get some inspiration. To protect our living environment, so the picture in the background, I draw a people who have embraced the earth, a symbol of love and protection. I hope that the fonts look great powerful, so the font have angular.
The lighting effects LOGO
This week I designed two different styles of Business cards.The first business card I chosed the Chinese style. Facebook is designed with Chinese characteristics, so I use it as my LOGO in my business card.
I use the contrast and gradient methods. The flame pattern is in the middle of Business card also a symbol of traditional Chinese culture.
These two business cards is my initial idea. I will continue to modify my business cards. If I have a new idea, I will design a new business cards.Finally, I will choose a better one.

The production of LOGO, I mainly think about our theme, so I use more decadent style. Firstly, our theme is Apocalyptic, when I see this word, I thought that the various ruins, all kinds of defects, decadent life. So when I designed the LOGO I hope can highlight the theme of the exhibition. The color of the LOGO, I chose yellow as the main color, yellow is a bright color. The fonts will become more obvious.
The second LOGO which I designed the style is quite different with the first. First of all I think that the word means from literally, it should be paying attention for the people. So I think that this word should be used the bright colors, giving a visual impact. I chose amber as LOGO texture.
On the other hand, I hope that the LOGO can be irradiated on the floor through the screen. The font can be relatively large. Both sides of door's lights can more dim because it is highlighting the LOGO.
The visit of the British Museum, I have a great harvest, not only saw the collection in different countries, but also received a lot about the exhibition of knowledge. After visit museum I got some important information about exhibition. First of all, the placing of exhibits in the exhibition is very important. A good placing of exhibits can guide the audience a clear theme of the exhibition. For example, the British Museum's exhibition is divided into different countries. Each country's exhibition has its own characteristics. For me, overseas exhibition of the collection is very appealing to me. But I am rather familiar with the Chinese exhibition, so I use the exhibition of China as an example to illustrate. When I entry the Chinese exhibition, first of all I can see the China's own unique works. Jade carving works of art can be said of China's most traditional things. Jade is also very famous in China. In particular, the works are displayed in the exhibition. Placed them on the top of their exhibition, if someone understanding of Chinese culture, they must know that this is Chinese exhibition area. I also found that exhibition was put the small works together and then give them to compile the figures, in the window outside, according to numbers, people can well-known their name and introduction to the works. To facilitate the audience better understand the history of each one exhibits. In addition, the exhibits are not only on the side of the wall, many large exhibits have been placed into the middle of both sides of the wall, which is its prominent place, more to attract viewers realized.
I also found that the British Museum, all of the exhibitions have a common characteristic, which is a very spacious exhibition area, there is no obstacle or wall. Viewers can see the whole exhibition area. It is also worthy of our study areas.
The British Museum is very large, so each exhibition area set up lounge. At the exit was also set up souvenir shops. As a large-scale exhibition, this is an essential part.

I think that the theme of the exhibition in addition to have creativity, organization and arrangements are also important. Therefore, our group is still discussion how to display our exhibits. How should hall layout. I think apart from the exhibits placed in the layout, we can design a place to have rest for the audience. I saw some exhibition design. Some of the audience hall resting place is putting a bench as a resting place in the middle of the hall. My idea is that if local enough, we can design a lounge. The lounge facilities are consistent with the theme of the exhibition.
Also this week my main job, apart from visiting art museums, gets some inspiration. The other is design a LOGO for our exhibition.
In the production of LOGO, consideration is how to design, when the audiences see the LOGO, they can know theme of the exhibition. This is the ultimate point. In addition, LOGO designed to comply with the theme, while also a visual impact, impressive for people. Taking into these factors, I have my own ideas in design LOGO.
First, our theme is Apocalyptic, so I use this as the main indicator of LOGO. Our exhibition is mainly to do some destroy the environment, or objects. The whole exhibition is part of the gray color of the Department, in order to match the exhibition, the LOGO selected as the main color of gray.
LOGO font, I chose to use crack, giving a feeling of being destroyed. In additional, when I made the LOGO production background, I use several different backgrounds, each one has its own different characteristics. The final choice of which one, I will discuss with my group members on next group meeting.

A good exhibition the important things is the advocacy component. In order to attract a wider audience, a lot of publicity cannot be missing. There are several ways to Publicity, most of the exhibition use this way to advocacy: web pages, posters, newspapers, magazines, TV commercials, outdoor advertising license. No matter what kind of f publicity, the ultimate aim is to attract the audience's attention. In the web pages and magazine publicity approach, mainly to explain the theme of the exhibition, features, time, place, and the important part is the picture. The designer can choose some good works of the pictures to put them on the web pages and magazine. Color, Layout of text and pictures is also necessary to attract people's attention. Standing in the audience's point of view, in the large-scale exhibition, the space will be relatively large, so set the lounge is necessary. But the lounge is also need innovative design. It is best able to adapt with the theme of the exhibition. The following pictures are two different types of lounges in exhibitions.
The left picture is an independent design of the lounge. It did not put together with the exhibition. To the right picture, the lounge is in the middle of the exhibition, design style and colors match with the theme of the exhibition's works.
This module is designed to give us an opportunity to promote themselves via exhibition to show case what we have achieved and learned over three years of studying. After last week, I am not understand this class what should I do. Then through the teacher and my group member’s help I began to know this module. In this week, I find some information on the exhibition. I studied the details of the exhibition and know what should I prepared before the exhibition. For this course I got my own ideas, so I will talk about to my group in this week Last week I main research is 798 Art Zone, Beijing, China. The Arts District, there are many exhibitions for each year, and this is a strong arts culture place. This place is different from other parts of the exhibition, first the space is different from many Western countries, most exhibitions are offered in an arts center, and a good indoor facility. But Beijing 798 Art Zone is different from other countries. It considers the simplest things are beautiful. The exhibition is to highlight the work itself, rather than the environment, and therefore the environmental facilities 798 Art Zone exhibition is very simple, and very old, but it has its own style. The following pictures show that the 798 Art Zone in exhibitions. Through to find this information, I know a lot about the exhibition of knowledge, I believe that it is helpful me in this course.
The history of 798 Art Zone
The area occupied by Beijing 798 Art Zone was once the place for Beijing North China wireless joint equipment factory (namely, 718 Joint Factory), which was designed and built by the experts of former G.D.R in the 1950s. The Joint Factory was designed to be built in 1952, constructed from 1954,put into production in October 1957.
The designing task of the 718 Joint Factory was in the charge of a German architectural institution in Dessau, which lied in the same city with Bauhaus school at that time and they two shared the same architectural spirits whose main characteristics are meeting the practical demands; bringing the technical and aesthetic property of new materials and new structure into effect; designing simply and composing pictures vividly with flexibility. That is the genre what later called Bauhaus.
On The April,1964, the supervisor units canceled the organizational system of 718, established 706,707,718,797,798 and 751. The former six factories of 700, 706, 707, 718, 797, and 798 were reorganized and incorporated into Beijing Sevenstar Science and Technology Co., LTD in December, 2000. To cooperate the reforming plan of Dashanzi Area, the Seven Group rented out these plants for short term. Attracted by ordered designing, convenient traffic, unique style of Bauhaus architecture, many art organizations and artists came to rent the vacant plants and transformed them, gradually formed a district gathered galleries, art studios, cultural companies, fashion shops etc. As the earliest area where the art organizations and artists moved in located in the original area of 798 factory, this place was named as Beijing 798 Art Zone.

Beijing 798 art zone lies in the 718 factory of Beijing Sevenstar Science and Technology Co., LTD.(short for Sevenstar Group) Jiuxianqiao Road, Dashanzi Area, Chaoyang District. A total construction area of 230,000 square meters assembles many cultural elements such as galleries, design studios, art exhibition spaces, artists’ studios, fashion shops, restaurants etc. In 798 Art Zone, there are nearly 400 organizitions including galleries, artists’ private studios,cultural companies like animated cartoon, television media, publishing, design and consultation, which comes from France, Italy, Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Japan, Australia, South Korea, China, China Taiwan, Hong Kong and other countries and regions.798 Art Zone has become an exhibition center of Chinese culture and art, an influential cultural creative concentration area home and abroad.
Beijing 798 Art Zone gathers a number of celebrities of art and culture, art institutions and enterprises in fashion. Many important international art exhibitions, art activities and fashion shows are often hold there, which attract many worldwide political importance , movie stars and social celebrities .Since 2004, lots of celebrities have been to 798 Art Zone , including Prime Ministers from Sweden, Switzerland ,and Austria ,ex-prime minister from German (Schroeder),the president of European Union(Barroso)，the queen of Belgium, wife of Annan ,French expresident Chirac’s wife, Norway prime minister’s wife and Belgium Crown Prince. Countless international big brands like Sony, Motorola , West Wasted , Dior, Omega ,BMW, Chinese Yahoo had made promotions here.

A good exhibition, not only requires good works, but also need to have a reasonable arrangement and publicity.
I looked up some information, I got a few points. The first is the layout of the exhibition is very important. According work’s size and type of features to design it should be placed in position. I think the exhibition should give audiences a broad vision, because when the audiences see the whole exhibition, they will be able to know the main contents of the exhibition. Secondly, the layout must be innovative. The same type of work can interspersed a number of different ornaments, such as sculpture, or some innovative work.
